Liege Waffle
First invented in the city of Liège in Belgium, the Liège waffle is made out of dough infused with pearl sugar. The dough gives the waffle a deliciously soft & chewy texture on the inside and the pearl sugar caramelizes the waffle when it bakes in the waffle iron giving it a very rich flavor. The Liège waffle always sets a new and higher “waffle bar” for new people trying it!
